Me the player
My name is Jeff Monkman and I have a problem. Since the age of five, guitars and music have dominated my time on this planet. After graduating from The Berklee College of Music I moved to Nashville and became a guitarist for hire as well as a creator. Acoustic music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. This passion eventually lead to me building acoustic instruments.
Me the builder
I have spent decades pursuing the perfect (for me) acoustic guitar. The knowledge I gained while on this pursuit compelled me to start making my own instruments.
The evolution and heritage of Martin guitars is where my building concepts are derived.
My passion is to create "new vintage" guitars. Guitars built like they used to be built. Instruments that will be handed down to friends and family for years to come.
